AndersonBaron was commissioned by Standard Pacific Homes in 2013 for planning services on the property that currently houses the Compadre Stadium area in south Chandler, Arizona. What was once the spring training facility for the Milwaukee Brewers in the 80s and 90s will be transformed into a new resort style housing development called “The Echelon at Ocotillo”.
The Arizona Republic featured Echelon in an article yesterday highlighting the positive developments coming to the largely abandoned site, and even showcased our graphic! Check out the full article here.
The Echelon at Ocotillo is just under 70 acres and designed as a premier resort residential community within the Ocotillo Master Plan that will host a variety of product types and densities. The community theme celebrates the Spanish Mission elegance, with stylish water features trickling into lakes and varying paving materials leading into the community. A lush formal landscape with a series of fountains leads to the Spanish Mission themed portal of the development. After passing through the custom gates into the community, the arrival experience is accentuated with the entry drive terminating onto the main community lake, with long lake views that extend throughout the community. Standard Pacific Homes hopes to break ground this June.
