Okay, so I know it’s not technically a lunch and learn, but it’s still part of the series! Earlier in September we rolled out our new Lunch & Learn Series initiative as a way to develop our team and offer educational elements to our industry and office. Following the first workshop on Planting Design, we took our team out on a tour of V&P Nurseries on September 26th! Macie and her staff were kind enough to set up a private tour for AndersonBaron on a Friday afternoon in late September (if you haven’t been to Phoenix much in September, know it’s always the last month of “okay-can-it-cool-down-already temperatures”). Thank you to the V&P Staff and to AndersonBaron team for withstanding the heat to learn about plant materials, how they are grown at V&P and how many of their trees are going to be in AndersonBaron projects!
V&P Nurseries is a wholesale nursery located in Queen Creek with another location in Chino Valley, Arizona. They have over 300 acres of production and 200 varieties of plants, and advancing in plant sciences and technologies such as their plant tissue culture lab. They shared their knowledge with us and quizzed staff on plant names along the way. Big thanks to V&P!
