AZASLA – ARIZONA LANDSCAPE ARCHITECTS AWARDED PRESTIGIOUS AWARDS at ANNUAL GALA 2015

 

Phoenix, Ariz. (March 28, 2015)…

 

The top award of the night, The President’s Award, was presented to AndersonBaron for their design of Eastmark–DU 7 South at the Arizona Chapter of the American Society of Landscape Architects’ (AzASLA) Annual Design Awards Gala held at the Phoenix Art Museum on Saturday, March 28th.  The Gala brought together professional and student landscape architects to celebrate exceptional projects from the public space, urban planning, private, and educational sectors.

Other Awards of Excellence winners for the night were Hummingbird House by Colwell Shelor Landscape Architecture and House of Desert Gardens by Colwell Shelor Landscape Architecture.

Winning projects received Awards of Excellence or Honor and were judged by a jury of design professionals based upon design and planning quality and execution, response to site context, environmental sensitivity and sustainability, and value to the public, the client, and other designers. Additionally, special awards were given in the categories of Contractor of the Year, Champion of the Year, Volunteer of the Year, Sage of the Year, and Educator of the Year,  in addition to a Lifetime Achievement Award.
