AndersonBaron’s work at Eastmark won the President’s Award and the Award of Excellence at the 2015 Arizona ASLA Awards!
In addition to the work highlighted in AndersonBaron’s Community Design Studio with Eastmark, AndersonBaron was commissioned for designing the neighborhood parks for the first two phases of the community (DU7 North and South), which includes 28 parks covering over 17 acres. Centered on the concept of community socialization, each park was uniquely designed to be an extension of the front yard and a jewel of neighborhood. Intimate residential neighborhoods are anchored by these small neighborhood parks and connected through the richly designed network of streets. In fitting with the overall theme of Eastmark, all of the neighborhood parks are inspired by explorers, inventors and visionaries. Large expanses of open turf fields encouraging free play for children and social gathering areas for adults, a neighborhood park is conveniently never more than a few minutes away.
