Jacaranda Place is a roughly 27-acre gated community located in southeast Chandler, Arizona. Its unique character blends rural and agrarian themes, paying homage to the agricultural history of southeast Chandler but with a few hints of contemporary flare. This is consistent throughout the landscaping with deliberate placement of plants in organized rows and columns, similar to what you may find in a field of crops. The natural finish of colored masonry blocks are complemented by rustic metal elements on the walls and gates to take a natural patina as they age, much like farm buildings and equipment do over time.
Lush landscape with a variety of trees, shrubs, and turf provide a window into the community at the main gated entrance. Open space parcels are strategically located throughout the community and complemented by aesthetic tree-lined streets to create an interesting and diverse street scene experience. Deciduous and evergreen tree species add color and a variety of textures all year, while other low-water use plant material is placed and designed to create a lush and comfortable neighborhood feeling.
The open space throughout the community offers an abundance of turf for recreational activities and natural organic shaped character. The main central open space area is designed to be the location for active play on the free-play structures, and offers shaded picnic tables and benches for seating and gathering. This area is rounded out with a community rose garden adjacent to the tree shaded seating area.
