Potenza Park is one of the first City of Henderson parks to be constructed after the “Grand Re-Opening” of the 1,900-acre Inspirada master plan in 2014. At roughly 5 ½ acres, this park was designed for movement and music. The musical theme of this park engages users with its innovative, large-scale recreation equipment designed to encourage users to create sound through play, whether by dancing on the oversized piano keyboard embedded into the ground or hitting the large musical buttons on the living Neos game. These features were strategically designed to encourage “free play” among their users, which is a way for users to make up their own games with the highly interactive pieces. Users of all age are sure to engage their active side and create lively tunes.

In addition to the musical elements, Potenza Park users can also enjoy the resident pool, large open fields, a game of basketball on one of the two basketball courts, or ride the ramps and grind rails on the cool skate element.

Potenza Park is located between two other City of Henderson parks designed by AndersonBaron. With the parks so close in proximity, special consideration was taken to ensure each park offers unique active play elements to encourage residents to venture out and explore what each park has to offer. After users have experienced the musicality of Potenza Park, they can continue on the trails either one-quarter mile north to experience hands-on sensory activities at Capriola Park, or take a walk on the wild side a half mile south and dive into the exploration themed elements of Aventura Park.
